This simple melody based on the tune EL CAMINO is set for unison choir with or without congregation, and a four-part setting for the middle stanza. The final stanza has a beautiful descant for Sopranos and Altos which provides a gentle halo over the melody. The accompaniment is for either guitar, or very simple piano (guitar-like). The message in the text is powerful, proposing that we see God "when the poor ones are giving, when the thirsty share the cup, and when we reach out in love to the stranger."
