"On the occasion of retirement and relocation to another state, A Fond Farewell was written for a couple who had been longstanding members and strong supporters of their church. The work was premiered by the Hingham Congregational Church Choir of Hingham, Massachusetts under the direction of the composer during a service of celebration in honor of the couple. Though the expressive qualities of the music remain the same, alternative but similar verses have been provided so that the particulars of the text may be more appropriate in different situations." -Carol Nicholeris
Duration: 1:40
Flute part included in score.
The "Downloadable Accompaniment Tracks 1-50 singers" bundle contains a part dominant track for each voice part, a balanced voices track, and an accompaniment track if the work is not a cappella (the accompaniment is also included with the part dominant and balanced voices track). Part dominant tracks are the perfect place to start as the highlighted part is dominant with the other parts in the background for reference. The balanced voices track give a full choir balanced volume mix to allow musicians to hear a piece of music as a full performance. The accompaniment track offers the perfect way to practice singing independently and they can even be used in full choir rehearsals or even school performances. Each bundle is licensed to be used by up to 50 users. Please adjust the quantity accordingly if you have more than 50 users.
